We are the
longest established Medical Practice
in Ainsdale. There has been a
surgery at 66 Station Road since
1933. The premises were upgraded and
extended into 68 Station Road in
1993.
There are seven full time partners
with a list size of approximately
12,500 patients. The Practice has a
full complement of Staff which
includes 4 Practice Nurses, a Health
Care Assistant, Practice Manager,
Assistant Practice Manager, Office Manager and 14 ancillary
staff.
We have been a PMS practice since
2002 with a high QOF achievement. We
have good working relations with the
PCT and local hospitals. The surgery
is actively involved in Medicines
Management and works with an
attached pharmacist from the PCT.
We are keen on practicing high
quality evidence based medicine; as
a training practice we have two GP
Registrars,
Medical Students and Student Nurses.
All members of the PHCT have annual
appraisals and the Practice is
involved in the appraisal process of
other primary care physicians.
